Caloosahatchee Conditions Report

SCCF publishes a collaborative, weekly analysis, including recommendations for water managers regarding Lake Okeechobee flows. The reports, which feature real-time Caloosahatchee, estuary, and coastal conditions, are emailed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and South Florida Water Management District to inform water delivery operations and policy decisions. The SCCF Environmental Policy department works with Marine Lab staff to provide current monitored water conditions and coordinates with local stakeholders, including the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, local cities, and Lee County to make recommendations.
