Adult education programs range from traditional lecture and classroom programs to experiential learning activities, with Southwest Florida's beautiful environment serving as a classroom. When our seasonal residents are here, we also offer guided nature walks, field trips, workshops, and special activities such as art shows on a regular basis.

Current Programs
Join our knowledgeable marine science educators for a casual guided beach walk to explore what’s washed ashore. We will talk about some of the more mysterious objects we find on the beach, look for fascinating animals, and learn about shell biology. Weekly walks depart from the Island Inn on Sanibel.
