Florida's 2026 legislative session runs from Jan. 13 to March 13. SCCF's environmental policy team will be following along each day to advocate for sound, science-based environmental policy and to empower our communities to contact lawmakers. We'll send out action alerts, compile weekly legislative updates, manage a real-time legislative tracker, and conduct boots-on-the-ground advocacy.

Our 2026 Legislative Tracker will follow the status of state bills SCCF supports or opposes in real time.

Each week, we'll send out a summary of legislative actions taken, so you know exactly where bills stand, where they're headed, and what they mean for our coastal ecosystems.

Sign up for SCCF action alerts to be notified of opportunities to speak up to elected and appointed officials regarding local, regional, and federal environmental policy issues.

Each year, SCCF's environmental policy team sets specific advocacy priorities to focus on during the legislative session and communicates those priorities to key decision-makers at the local, state, and federal levels.
