SCCF hosts Wines in the Wild every November, featuring handpicked, unique wines that support a fun theme and entice the palate.
Held under the stars at SCCF, each year this event is truly a delight for the senses. An assortment of appetizers and a selection of three red and three white wines are available for imbibing, with both live and silent auctions.
“People tell us that this is their ‘welcome back,’ and consider it one of the most fun events on the island,” says wine connoisseur, Tom Uhler. Wines in the Wild always offers the unique experience of reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, while supporting a great cause - all with the perfect glass of wine in hand.

Beer in the Bushes has become the unofficial End-of-Season Party. Whether you’re looking for new craft beer tastings, great food, world-class music or just a chance to catch up with fellow islanders at the end of a very busy tourist season, Beer in the Bushes is the place to be.
Every year, Beer in the Bushes features an amazing band performing at our Nature Center surrounded by preserve land. All tickets include $10 in "Trux Bux" redeemable for dinner choices from six local food trucks, with craft beer tasting featuring local breweries and more! (Wine also available)
Guests will have a great evening while helping to support SCCF's mission of conserving coastal habitats and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva and in the surrounding watershed.
