Conserving Coastal Habitats and Aquatic Resources

The Environmental Policy Department works on local, regional, statewide and federal policy advocacy and outreach, bringing sound scientific grounding to policy development and provides the Foundation’s advocacy role for natural resource protection related to the protection and restoration of water resources, important habitats, land management, and fish and wildlife conservation. 

The Environmental Policy Department addresses issues including water, Everglades and Caloosahatchee ecosystem restoration, growth management, protection, conservation and restoration of habitats, fish and wildlife, conservation and policy development and legislation.
