Weeds ‘n’ Seeds: Bowman’s Beach

Every Monday, SCCF volunteers and plant experts Ruth Brooks and Karl Werner lead educational and fun Weeds ‘n’ Seeds plant walks on Sanibel and nearby off-island locations.
Enjoy being out in nature while observing common plants. All walks are on Monday mornings, and last about two hours. No reservations or fees are required!
*Participants are encouraged to wear proper footwear for walking through mud/water and vegetation, especially for those events marked with an asterisk!

Jan. 29: Bowman’s Beach, 9 a.m.
Bowman’s Beach is located at 1700 Bowman’s Beach Road, Sanibel, FL. Meet at the restrooms. Participants have three parking options:
- Park free with a ‘Resident A Parking Sticker’
- Pay $5 an hour for parking
- We are offering carpooling leaving at 8:30 a.m. from SCCF’s headquarters at 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road.
