After a year’s absence due to Hurricane Ian, plant enthusiasts Ruth Brooks and Karl Werner are excited to lead educational and fun Weeds ‘n’ Seeds plant walks on Sanibel and nearby off-island locations.
Enjoy being out in nature while observing common plants. All walks are on Mondays at 9 a.m. All walks last about two hours, and no reservations or fees are required. Participants are encouraged to wear proper footwear for walking through mud/water and vegetation, especially for those events marked with an asterisk! Check out our online plant database before you go and consider downloading or printing our plant checklist.
