Guided Trail Walk: Brooks Trails

Step into Sanibel’s natural wonders on a guided walk on SCCF’s newly reopened Brooks Trails, located behind our headquarters building at 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, FL. Wander through shady uplands, skirt vibrant wetlands, and catch a close-up view of the Sanibel Slough while discovering the wildlife and plants that thrive here. Along the way, hear stories of the island’s conservation legacy and how recent storms have shaped its ecosystems.
No RSVP needed; just meet at the Brooks Trails entrance in the parking lot on the west side of SCCF Headquarters (3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road). Free, but donations gratefully accepted.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring insect repellent, water, and sun protection.
