Sanibel Island offers world-class beachcombing, birding, and wildlife-watching opportunities. There is so much waiting to be discovered here! Join our knowledgeable marine science educators for a casual guided beach walk to explore what’s washed ashore. We will talk about some of the more mysterious objects we find on the beach, look for fascinating animals, and learn about shell biology.

Your guide will happily answer any questions you might have along the way. No two beach walks are ever the same — the sea has a way of surprising us! Guided beachcombing walks weekly on Thursdays.

• Time: 9 – 10:30 a.m.
• Price: Free to owners/guests staying at Sanibel Siesta. $20 per participant for the general public.
• Registration: Contact the front desk to sign up at (239) 472 4117. We will meet at the barbecue area on the south side of the pond.
• Other notes: No parking is available for the general public. Please plan to walk, bike, or carpool.
