Bird Walk at Bunche Beach
Join SCCF staff and volunteers at Bunche Beach to learn about the shorebirds that call Florida home for the fall and winter. Shorebirds in non-breeding plumage can be challenging, but we have some tips and tricks to help tell them apart.
Bunche Beach is a large mudflat, and we will be there at low tide. Your feet will get wet, so please dress accordingly. The bugs can be bad in the parking area but typically are not bad out on the flats.
Bunche Beach is located at 18201 John Morris Rd. Fort Myers, FL 33908. Parking is $2 an hour, or free if you have a Lee County parking sticker. More information about the park and how to pay can be found here: https://www.leegov.com/parks/beaches/bunche.
