Bird Walk at Bunche Beach

Leading up to the 126th Christmas Bird Count, SCCF and the Sanibel Captiva Audubon Society are holding bird walks around Sanibel and Fort Myers. Join us at Bunche Beach on Monday, Nov. 10, to learn about the shorebirds that call Florida home for the fall and winter. Shorebirds in non-breeding plumage can be challenging, but we have some tips and tricks to help tell them apart. Binoculars are recommended, and we also have a few spare pairs for those without their own! Tickets are $10 for non-SCCF members, and $5 for members. All proceeds benefit our shorebird monitoring program.
Space is limited to 12 participants for the best birding experience.
