Coastal Watch is gearing up for the annual International Coastal Cleanup this Saturday, September 21, and we’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our sponsors and partners who helped make this important event possible.

This event is held with the support of Keep Lee County Beautiful, which is organizing and supporting International Coastal Cleanup events around the county. 

A heartfelt thank you goes to Bank of the Islands, a longtime of this annual cleanup, for sponsoring this year’s cleanup and providing a post-event lunch for our volunteers. This year, Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille is stepping up in a big way, not only crafting a special menu for the post-cleanup lunch but also generously donating lunches for our hardworking volunteers. 

We’re excited to have Hooked Dumpsters on board this year, donating a dumpster to assist in properly disposing of the collected trash. In addition, we want to give a special shoutout to Sanibel Moorings Resort and the Island Inn for allowing participants to park in their lots during the event.
