Register for International Coastal Cleanup
Join SCCF’s Coastal Watch in participating in the Ocean Conservancy’s Annual International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 21. Volunteers will be collecting trash from both Sanibel and Captiva beaches as an island-wide effort to maintain coastal habitat and lead to cleaner, healthier waters.
This event is held with the support of Keep Lee County Beautiful, which is organizing and supporting International Coastal Cleanup events around the county. Post-cleanup lunch provided by Bank of the Islands & Doc Ford’s.

Thanks to millions of volunteers around the world, the ICC has become a beacon of hope, leading and inspiring action in support of our ocean. Since its beginning, more than 17 million volunteers have collected more than 350 million pounds of trash.
