“Economics of our Ecology: How Blue = Green” is the title of the SanCap Chamber business luncheon to be held Wednesday, July 10, at the Pink Shell Beach Resort in Fort Myers Beach from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Four guest panelists will speak from their point of view about current water quality issues and how they are affecting the local economy.

Guest speakers include SCCF CEO James Evans; Daniel Andrews, co-founder and executive director of Captains For Clean Water; Michele Arquette-Palermo, chief programs officer for Conservancy of Southwest Florida; and Bill Robinson, chief executive director for Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS. The discussion will support the chamber’s new Preserving Paradise leadership program. Visit preservingparadise.org for more information.

SCCF sponsors the luncheon meeting, which will be held in collaboration with the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber business lunch is a monthly networking opportunity held at various member locations. The chamber strives to provide speakers to discuss business topics relevant to the membership. SanCap Chamber members receive meeting invitations by email. Cost for luncheon attendance is $35.

Advanced registration is required to attend; walk-ins are not accepted. Register by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at sanibel-captiva.org or by contacting Aaron Walton at aaron@sanibel-captiva.org or 239-472-8759. Payment is due at time of registration.
