Nadine Cobb recently joined SCCF’s Wildlife & Habitat Management Program as its new Wildlife Biologist Intern. Nadine earned a Bachelor of Science degree at The University of Auckland (New Zealand) – Waipapa Taumata Rau, double majoring in Environmental Science and Marine Science.

She has always had a love for the outdoors and wildlife, working previously as a Park Ranger in Moab, UT.  Her interest in wildlife research was solidified while working as a Nighttime Sea Turtle Tagging Intern with SCCF’s Coastal Wildlife team during the 2023 nesting season.

While not at work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and herping (looking for amphibians and reptiles) with friends.  Nadine is looking forward to learning as much as possible about wildlife telemetry, trapping as part of the mark-recapture research, and monitoring populations of sensitive species with this internship and is excited to be back with SCCF for another season!
