Stay in the know about wildlife, water quality, and ecosystems on Sanibel and Captiva Islands and in Southwest Florida
Brewery & Food Truck Line Up for Beer in the Bushes!
Nine regional breweries will be serving up tastings of their best brews at the 10th Annual Beer in the Bushes on Saturday, March 30.
Join us on the grounds of SCCF’s headquarters on San-Cap Road to support coastal ecosystems while enjoying some of Southwest Florida’s most exceptional craft beer, world-class live music, and favorite local food trucks.
Breweries will represent coastal communities from Tampa to Naples, including Bone Hook Brewing Co., Hopsized Brewing Co., Fort Myers Brewing Co., Millenial Brewing Company, Palm City Brewing Co., and Point Ybel Brewing Co., with special selections offered from Sanibel’s own Great White Grill. Joining the scene for the first time this year will be Swamp Cat Brew Co. and Tampa Bay Brewing Co.
Food Truck Alley will be lined with a tantalizing assortment of tasty dishes from Price Panzarotti’s, Sweet Cheesus, Tia’s Kitchen, Wicked Streatery, and Yo Samara’s. All tickets include $15 in “TruxBux,” redeemable for dinner choices from any of the trucks. Beer samples, wine, soft drinks, water, and light snacks are also included in the price of admission.
Known as the islands’ unofficial end-of-season celebration, SCCF’s Beer in the Bushes will also deliver one of its most ambitious live music productions, with two sets by pioneering jam-grass collective Railroad Earth.
Tickets are selling fast! Act quickly to join fellow islanders, vacationers, and other good-time revelers for this year’s ‘Back to the Bushes‘ theme, with suggested attire of Camo Cool/Safari Chic.
Beer in the Bushes supports SCCF’s mission to protect and care for Southwest Florida’s coastal ecosystems.
