Stay in the know about wildlife, water quality, and ecosystems on Sanibel and Captiva Islands and in Southwest Florida
Beer in the Bushes Sponsorships Now Available!
For the first time since Ian struck, SCCF’s Beer in the Bushes is back on…at the newly restored SCCF headquarters on San-Cap Road on Saturday, March 30.
What better place to mark the 10th anniversary of our islands’ favorite party! “It feels really good to be sharing our new HQ with the Beer in the Bushes revelers,” said SCCF Events Manager Jeff Siwicke. “Coming together after all we have been through — it feels like exactly the celebration we can all use right about now.”
“We have plenty of space for roaming about our Food Truck Alley and craft breweries, dancing, and for quality time with friends — new and old,” Siwicke adds.
Headlining the 10th Annual Beer in the Bushes is the incomparable band Railroad Earth.
For over two decades, Railroad Earth has captivated audiences with gleefully unpredictable live shows and elevated studio output.
The band regularly sells out hallowed venues like the Red Rocks Amphitheater and Sony Hall, and returns annually to longstanding music festivals, always bringing eloquent songcraft, bluegrass soul, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
“Thanks to our good friends and returning Band Sponsor, The Marcums, we are taking the music and production up to a level we have not seen before. This will be a show not to be missed!” says Siwicke, who has a well-known penchant for hand-picking bands that get the crowd moving.
Aside from great music and other entertainment surprises, the event will also feature its namesake craft beer from regional breweries, and a diverse array of food trucks. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of food and beverage options, including beer and wine tastings, soft drinks and water, snacks, and dinner offerings.
“Becoming a sponsor is the one sure way to know you’re in for this traditionally sold-out event,” said Siwicke. “A limited number of tickets will be available after all the interested sponsors have been confirmed.”
