Held annually in partnership with The Everglades Foundation, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Everglades Update will focus on the economic importance that our natural resources, clean water, and America’s Everglades have for our coastal communities.

This year’s program will be a dynamic panel discussion to provide the community with an update on Everglades restoration and how it directly relates to the viability of our region’s economy.

SCCF CEO James Evans will moderate the panel featuring Paul Hindsley, Chief Economist at the Everglades Foundation, John Lai, President & CEO of the San-Cap Chamber, and Matt DePaolis, Environmental Policy Director at SCCF.

The outdoor, free event will be held at SCCF’s Bailey Homestead Preserve in the pavilion.
