Where are you from?
I was raised homeschooling on North Captiva and snow-bird-ing to a farm in West Virginia until I started middle school and moved to West Virginia full time.

Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I have a BA in Environmental Studies (minor in Biology) from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.

What do you look forward to while interning for Coastal Watch?
I look forward to contributing to the amazing projects SCCF has and working alongside some amazing people.

What do you like to do in your time off?
I like to bike, go hiking, and hang out on the beach looking for interesting new mollusk friends and birdwatching.

What is your favorite sea creature?
My favorite sea creature is the manatee because they’re so lovely and peaceful.

What’s the best music for a weekend at the beach?
Definitely oldies folk music.

If you could visit any marine ecosystem on the planet, where would you go?
I would love to visit the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
