Meet the Interns: Julianna Zeltman
Julianna Zeltman recently joined SCCF as an intern for the Native Landscapes and Garden Center. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy.
Growing up in Fort Myers, she’s always had an appreciation for the islands and the lush vegetation that brings them to life.
On a recent study abroad program in Zanzibar, Tanzania, she studied coastal conservation and the essential impact that native plants and animals have on the surrounding environment. Her passion for this field grew stronger over the course of the trip and she’s excited to apply what she learned abroad back home.
She will be interning for six months and is excited to grow in her knowledge of native species identification and landscape and gardening management.
