Fall is in the air and it’s about time for SCCF’s signature concert series to feature some revitalizing live music aboard the Lady Chadwick.

“We are so pleased that we are able to host these intimate, on-the-water sunset concert cruises thanks to our partners at Captiva Cruises and the Marcums,” said SCCF Event Manager Jeff Siwicke. “We strive to curate music from a variety of genres from well-established and up-and-coming artists from around the country.”

SCCF launched Pine Island Sounds in 2019 as a special donor event to support critical research and programs to protect local water quality.

• Sunday, Dec. 10 2023: JON STICKLEY TRIO
  A genre-defying and cinematic instrumental trio, the Jon Stickley Trio offers deep grooves, innovative flatpicking and sultry-spacy violin moves. Their inspiration ranges from Green Day to Duran Duran, the Grateful Dead, Nirvana, and more.
• Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024: THE LAST REVEL
  A three-piece folk group that brings a full spectrum of modern Americana to life, The Last Revel draws influence from their salt-of-the-earth Midwest ethos. Their honest and heartfelt songwriting blends the genres of folk, old-time string-band, and indie rock to create a sound that echoes the current heartbeat of America.

  A GRAMMY-nominated fiddle player, Casey Dreissen loves to experiment, collaborate, teach, travel, and push the boundaries of not only his five-string fiddle, but of what it means to be an independent working musician in the modern music industry.

Thanks to the Marcums and Captiva Cruises for making this one-of-a-kind concert series possible. Cruises depart from McCarthy’s Marina on Captiva Island and sail into the sunset on the amazing waters of Pine Island Sound.
