Venue Change for The Watch Party
Important Event Information – Change of Venue
Due to the high chance of rain showers on Friday evening, we have made the decision to host The Watch Party at the Bailey Homestead Preserve (1300 Periwinkle Way) instead of the SCCF Headquarters. This change has taken place to take advantage of the covered pavilion on the grounds that can serve as shelter from potential rain. All planned activities will be taking place, rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. We will have some umbrellas on site for use between uncovered areas.
The parking plan is to remain the same. All guests are instructed to park at the parking lot across the street from the Sanibel Community House at 2190 Periwinkle Way. High top, 15-passenger vans will serve as the shuttles to take you to the event and back to your car as there is no on-site parking.
This event is now sold out.
The band, Uproot Hootenanny, will take the stage at 6 p.m., the same time that the first shrimp boil is served. Subsequent batches of the shrimp boil will be served every half hour for the next hour and a half. There will be Cheeseburgers and Pulled Pork sliders from Doc Fords, Grilled Oysters from Timbers, and Cheese Pizza from Great White Grill available throughout the event until we run out. Beer will be provided by Point Ybel and Pacifico, and we will have wine, soft drinks, and water available.
SCCF and Coastal Watch can’t wait to see you, rain or shine!
