SCCF is one of 14 partner organizations within SanCap Citizens for a Resilient Future, a group that aims to help the island community as it rebuilds from Hurricane Ian and to explore longterm resilience measures for future storms and other impacts like sea level rise.

Panelists recently answered a series of questions from the group’s second community event on April 11, held in collaboration with the City of Sanibel. Access them below.

Questions were posed by audience members and specifically focused on our built environment (structures) and our natural systems (conservation lands, coastlines, and residential landscapes). SCCF CEO James Evans was one of the panelists focused on natural systems and helped answer the questions above.
