Sanibel Sea School staff are pleased to announce that summer camp will be held on Sanibel this year. While the school’s flagship campus is undergoing renovations from the hurricane, the camps’ home base will be SCCF’s Bailey Homestead Preserve. Various camps will be held for ages 4-17. Registration opens at 12 p.m. EST on March 4.

The Homestead is our headquarters, but in true Sanibel Sea School fashion, we hop in our vans and head to the ocean for hands-on marine science fun. It is the perfect camp setting with picturesque gardens to explore, a wide-open grassy lawn for playing games, and within walking distance of hiking trails through wild Sanibel. This summer, we will offer Sea Squirts weeks for ages 4 to 6, Island Skills weeks for ages 6 to 13, and CIT weeks for ages 13 to 17. We also have an incredible lineup of teen camps. Opportunities include fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, research experience, and overnight camping!

We have many new themes to explore and can’t wait to share them with you.
