Stay in the know about wildlife, water quality, and ecosystems on Sanibel and Captiva Islands and in Southwest Florida
Pacifico Proceeds Benefit SCCF
Through Jan. 31, 2023, Pacifico beer is donating $1 to the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation for every 12 pack of Pacifico beer sold in Collier, Lee, and Charlotte Counties.
The partnership is being advertised on signage on top of Pacifico displays in stores, including at Publix, ABC Liquor, and Total Wine. The campaign is also being promoted on iHeart Media radio channels and on digital billboards near Southwest Florida International Airport and on Colonial Boulevard.
“When Hurricane Ian hit, our local Pacifico team was devastated to see the effects of the storm. Not just the destroyed buildings and infrastructure but also how the storm disrupted our cherished waterways and surrounding bays,” said Reed Connelly, a regional market development manager for Pacifico. “Locally, we knew we wanted to support an organization that would be critical in restoring the natural beauty of our coast. We knew that SCCF would be a perfect organization to partner with due to their past and present conservancy projects. Fortunately, Pacifico Clara Beer founded the Pacifico Preserves program back in 2018 to support nature conservancy efforts. Through this program we are honored to support SCCF and all of their efforts.”
