SCCF (Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation) is pleased to announce that Ryan Scott, a Brooklyn-based guitarist and soul singer, will be the featured musical artist for the Pine Island Sounds sunset concert cruise on Sunday, Jan. 16.

Scott’s music embodies rock ‘n roll and soul in its purest form, influenced by the blues-rock guitar lineage, New York’s Jazz tradition, New Orleans R&B, Brazilian psychedelia, and much more. His mastery of technique, groove, and aesthetic are undeniable. With a technical expertise way beyond his years, he delivers freshly crafted tunes and wildly energetic live performances.(Learn more at ryanscottguitar.com.)

Board The Lady Chadwick for an on-the-water celebration of music, sunsets, and SCCF’s critical research and programs to protect local water quality. This is the third cruise of the series that supports SCCF’s critical mission. “I am excited to bring talent like Ryan Scott to our intimate show,” said Pine Island Sounds Producer Jeff Siwicke. “I know everyone will be a fan after listening to his newest album, A Freak Grows in Brooklyn—the guy is a master and just fun to watch!”

The cruise is presented in partnership with the Marcums and Captiva Cruises, sailing 4 – 6pm from McCarthy’s Marina. Tickets are $100. The cruise includes first drinks provided by Jack and Janie, a cash bar, and complimentary snack boxes from Catering by Leslie Adams. Mark your calendar for the fourth and final cruise of the season on Feb. 13. Tickets for both cruises are on sale, but space is limited so reserve your seat today: Pine Island Sounds Registration.
