Rebekka (Beka) Wade
Rebekka “Beka” Wade serves as Chief Finance and Operations Officer for the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF). In this role, she provides leadership for the organization’s finance and operations functions in support of SCCF’s mission to protect and care for Southwest Florida’s coastal ecosystems.
Beka brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit finance and operations. Previously, she served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Operations Officer for the Tallahassee Museum, one of Florida’s premier institutions dedicated to wildlife conservation, environmental education, and cultural preservation. In that role, she helped guide the museum’s financial and operational strategy while supporting its long-term sustainability and mission-driven impact.
Throughout her career, Beka has partnered closely with boards of directors, executive leadership teams, staff, donors, and community stakeholders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, support strategic growth, and advance mission-focused work.
Beka is passionate about helping nonprofit organizations thrive through strong financial stewardship and effective operations. She is excited to bring her experience to SCCF and contribute to the organization’s important work protecting the natural resources and wildlife of the Sanibel and Captiva region.
