Each year, the Everglades Coalition Conference is held to engage a diverse audience of stakeholders with the protection and restoration of the greater Everglades. This annual event serves as a hub for those dedicated to the Everglades’ incredible ecosystems, as well as those who are interested in becoming more engaged.

The 41st annual Everglades Coalition Conference will be themed ‘Everglades Strong: All in For Restoration’ and will be held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort from Jan. 28- 30, 2026.

Apply for a Student Scholarship!
Through Oct. 30, students interested in attending the conference can apply for free registration, including meals and an on-site hotel room, thanks to a scholarship program supported by the National Parks Conservation Association. Scholarship recipients will also be connected with a professional mentor and cohort of fellow conservation advocates to help facilitate networking.

Applicants must be 18+ and a currently registered high school, undergraduate, or graduate student.
New this year, students are invited to share relevant research at the conference poster session. If you are a student interested in this opportunity, please apply online by Oct. 30. For additional questions regarding the conference or student sponsorship, please contact SCCF Policy Associate Allie Pecenka at apecenka@sccf.org.

“This conference is an excellent opportunity for those interested in Everglades restoration to be immersed in the field, especially students looking to expand their knowledge on Florida ecology and the connection of the Everglades to water quality in South and Southwest Florida,” Pecenka said.
