Pine Island Sounds Returns: SCCF Reveals Lineup for Sunset Cruise Concert Series
Enjoy live music on the water and support SCCF’s water quality monitoring and research with Pine Island Sounds, our annual sunset concert cruise series!
Pine Island Sounds cruises will be held each month from November to February, starting with Nov. 16. All cruises take place on Sunday afternoons and set sail from McCarthy’s Marina on Captiva Island. Check out the 2025-26 lineup below.
Sunday, Nov. 16 | 4-6 p.m. | feat. Tyler Ramsey

Tyler Ramsey is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of Asheville, North Carolina. He’s known for his evocative, genre-blending sound that fuses folk, rock, and alternative influences. Ramsey’s music is deeply rooted in nature and personal experience, with much of his latest album, “New Lost Ages,” inspired by his life in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Sunday, Dec. 14 | 4-6 p.m. | Feat. Jerron Paxton & Dennis Lichtman

Jerron Paxton (formerly “Blind Boy” Paxton) and Dennis Lichtman are world-renowned multi-instrumentalists and vocalists based in New York City. Paxton and Lichtman were artists-in-residence at Symphony Space in New York City for the 2024-25 season and recently released their first full-length duo recording. Their mutual love of the history, stories, and significance behind the music they play is apparent as they romp through an energetic and engaging set of acoustic blues, ragtime, Tin Pan Alley pop songs, 1920s jazz, twin fiddle hoe-downs, and original songs and compositions.

Sunday, Jan. 25 | 4:30-6:30 p.m. | Feat. Cold Chocolate

Cold Chocolate is a genre-bending Americana band that fuses folk, funk, and bluegrass to create a unique sound all their own. Featuring Ethan Robbins on guitar and mandolin & Ariel Bernstein on percussion and banjo, this power duo has quickly gained recognition for their tight harmonies, original music, skillful musicianship, and high-energy shows.

Sunday, Feb. 22 | 4:30-6:30 p.m. | Feat. Sunny War

Sunny War (a.k.a. Sydney Ward) is an American singer and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Her sound delivers a vibrant mix of punk and roots, drawing on various genres including rock, gospel, and country. She has opened for Bonnie Raitt, Mitski, Iron & Wine, and Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, among others.
